Good morning everyone! Sorry I'm getting this up so late. I had some technical issues (or dummy issues) either way, lol. Anyway, today is another Stamp Something Challenge. This week we have a sketch. The sketch was done by Stamp Somethings first guest designer Katharina Frei. Just click on her name to check out her blog.
Here is what I came up with. The so happy for you I just inked up one word at a time with a marker and tried to stamp it with the curve. I know my boat is backwards, but thats because I stamped on the back side of the DSP. The first The boat and the first layer of water have pop dots underneath. Here's a close up. Oh, and I made a new watermark =). What do you think?
-Stamps-Nursery Necessities
-Paper-Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Bordering Blue, Whisper White and So Saffron cardstock; Prints DSP in So Saffron, Certainly Celery and Bashful Blue.

Stamp Something Challenge 3
Good morning! Well today is Friday which means another great Stamp Something Challenge! This weeks theme is "Faux Somethings". So anything faux goes. Theres faux silk, leather, metal, stitching, shaving cream, linen, the list goes on. Go check out the Resources section of SCS and you'll find tutorials. I decided to finally give the Faux Silk technique a try and I'm so glad I did! I love the look of it, and I can't believe how easy it was!
I'm really happy with how this card came out. The main panel and the scallop all have glue dots under them since the ribbon is so puffy.
-Stamps-Artfully Asian and Always
-Paper-Pretty in Pink, Whisper White and Basic Black cardstock; Pretty in Pink DSP.
-Ink-Black Staz-on
-Accessories-Pretty in Pink, Old Olive and Basic Black markers; Scallop punch, 1 1/4 and 1 3/8 circle punches, Flirty ribbon originals (retired), glue dots and Basic Black grosgrain.

SC177
I love the Sketch challenge on SCS today, so I had to give it a try. I thought Doodle this would be perfect. I haven't touched this set in months probably. If you look at some of my older posts you will see I was pretty much obsessed with this set. I think I just got a little burned out on it =).
Can you believe the In Colors are going to be gone soon. I'm so sad. I'll tell ya though, as far as I'm concerned Rose Red has ceased to exist and Pomegranate has taken it's place. I'm just going to do some serious stocking up =).
The flowers were colored with an aqua painter using ink pads, then attached with mini glue dots. -Stamps-Doodle This & Priceless
-Paper-Groovy Guava and Basic Black cardstock; Cutie Pie DSP and Watercolor paper.
-Ink-Black Staz-on, Groovy Guava, Purely Pomegranate, So Saffron and Old Olive
-Accessories-Black brads

I won Nancy Riley's blog candy!
I won Nancy's blog candy a few days ago! Check out all the awesome goodies she sent me! =). Nancy's blog has been one of my favorites for a while, so it was really cool to win, especially considering their were almost 300 entries. Seriously, go check out Nancy's blog iStamp. She's awesome! Thanks Nancy!
Oh, I wanted to share a cute picture with you too. My dog Jingle had puppies in January, and she got really scratched up from them nursing (their nails). So she got a bunch of scabs that won't go away since she won't leave them alone. So finally I put socks on her, lol. I tied them on with ribbon. I thought it was really cute, so I had to take a picture.
Have a great day!

Stamp Something Challenge 2
Hey everyone. This card is for the second Stamp Something challenge. The theme this week is A little something to say, thank you, so I did a thank you card. These challenges have been great for me. It's nice to have a starting point sometimes =).
The apples aren't showing up right in the picture. They have a lot of yellow shading also. The white spots were done with the white Signo gel pen. And as you can see I didn't wait long enough for the apples to dry before I started on the sky. -Stamps-Give Thanks, Much Appreciated
-Paper-Bashful Blue and Real Red cardstock; Summer Picnic DSP & Watercolor Paper
-Ink-Close To Cocoa, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Real Red and Old Olive (some were markers)
-Accessories-Styled Silver HPH and white Signo gel pen

Card for mom
This is the card I made my mom for Mothers day. Of course I put off making cards till the last minute, so I made them really late Saturday night. Ugh, I'm such a procrastinator. I made hubby's mom a card too, but I forgot to take a picture before I gave it to her. This card was inspired by THIS card by Jenn Balcer.
-Stamps-Fabulous Flowers, Tres Chic BG, One of a Kind, and Straight up alphabet & numbers (retired).
-Paper-Purely Pomegranate, Groovy Guava, Soft Sky, Whisper White and Blue Bayou; Soft Sky prints DSP.
-Ink-Purely Pomegranate, Groovy Guava, Soft Sky and Blue Bayou
-Accessories-Styled Silver HPH, foam dimensionals.
I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!

First Christmas tree SB page
The first challenge for the Stamp Something Challenges was firsts...how appropriate. Anything firsts goes. First baby, first tooth, first car, first time doing anything...you get the picture =). Anyway I thought why not first Christmas tree? Now this isn't actually my first Christmas tree ever of course, but this was mine and hubby's first Christmas married, so it's the first one that was *really* ours. We had fun decorating it and trying to keep it from falling over, lol (you can read the journaling if click on the picture). The journaling was done in Microsoft word. I just left enough room to stamp the Christmas trees.
-Stamps-Crazy for Christmas, Print Pattern Background, and Short Order Alphabet.
-Ink-River Rock and Old Olive
-Paper-River Rock, Real Red, Old Olive and Very Vanilla cardstock; Dashing DSP

Ways to use it challenge card
I'm not really sure why, but I've never done any of the ways to use it challenges on SCS. I finally did one today though =). It was WT164 All Ruffled up. The challenge was to make pleats or ruffles so I made some by folding DSP back and forth. The DSP was 1/2" by 18". I just taped the paper together inside one of the ruffles.
The inside of the flower looks like it was colored with Pretty in Pink, but all I did was use a blender pen to drag the color from the Pomegranate outlines. It works great. The flower fusion flower looks kinda funny in the picture. It doesn't look so bad IRL. -Stamp-One of a Kind, Priceless
-Ink-Close to Cocoa, Purely Pomegranate
-Paper-Close to Cocoa, Purely Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink and Whisper White cardstock; Rose Red prints DSP.
-Accessories-Flower Fusion, Styled Silver HPH, Pretty in Pink grosgrain and SAB rub-on sentiment.
