I'm baaaak!

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. I kept meaning too, but time just seems to be getting away from me lately. I've been so busy! I haven't been online very much, aside from popping in on SCS here and there. I really haven't stamped much either. I've been reorganizing my stamp room, selling stamps on ebay, unmounting stamps and spending a little more time outside.

I started noticing before my unplanned blog break that I spend way more time blogging and blog hopping than actually stamping! So I think I'm going to cut back a little bit. I'll probably post once or twice a week. There are tons of blogs that I love to visit and leave comments, but I have to say it's just getting to be way to time consuming! I will still be visiting and commenting, of course, just not quite so much. I used to try to comment on most posts from some of my favorite bloggers, but lets face it...I have way to many favorite blogs!

I used the adorable Agnes Ketto on my card. I love the Ketto stamps! I want them all! The image and the silk flowers were colored with Copics. I think this layout may have been an old SCS sketch, but I made this card last week and I can't remember now. I cut the lighter pink part of her skirt out of a second image and layered it on top. I used mini glue dots in the middle of each piece and glue on the ends so each one sticks up a little in the middle.

Be Happy

Hello! I hope you are having a great day! I meant to post earlier today, but I ended up spending most the day working in my garden. People that know me know I don't garden, lol. I don't like dirt, especially under my fingernails, don't like getting dirty and I don't like bugs . I'm working on it though. I still don't like doing it, but I do like the result. I'll post a picture when I get it done. I've got to get some more mulch and just a few more plants and I'm done . My hubby took a week of vacation time so we could get some stuff done around the house. Yesterday we worked out in the yard. Fun stuff, lol.
Saturday we went to a state park with some friends and rented some canoes. That was a lot of fun. There are trees all through the water and you go through them like a trail. I think it's almost 2 miles each way. It's really nice out there. Very peaceful. They have little signs everywhere telling you which way to go. We are going again tomorrow with some other friends.

I am NOT as white as I look in this picture, lol. I am pale, but not that pale! Unfortunately they all look like this. I don't even think I had the flash on. Not sure why it looks like that. That's my husband Sam behind me, and our friends Christy and Donnie in the other canoe.

This is when we were coming out of the trails and opens back up to a big pond. We raced back across the pond. Me and hubby won . My arms were burning after all that paddling!

I did manage to get one card made though. I just got this adorable Missmatch Ketto image from WRAK. I LOVE the Ketto's from stamping bella! They are so cute! Really fun to color too.

Hi!

Hello! Hope you are having a happy Tuesday afternoon! I know I'm happy to be back on the computer! Yesterday morning I woke up, pushed the button to turn it on and nothing happened. It was the power supply. I've actually been using hubby's computer for a while since the motherboard in mine died. So we took the power supply out of mine, but it wouldn't fit in hubby's. He didn't have time last night, but we are going to move everything from his case to mine so the power supply will fit. Hubby called me a little while ago on his lunch break and told me how I could hook it up outside of his computer. It worked! I was about to go crazy without a computer for another day, lol. Anyway, here's a card I made this weekend.

Well I think I'm going to spend a little time catching up on blog hoppin', and then turn this thing off for a while. It's probably not a good idea for the power supply to be sitting on the floor on for too long. Hope you all have a fantastic day!

Stamp Something Challenge

Good morning! This weeks Stamp Something Challenge is sponsored by Cutting Cafe. They have some really cute Digital images. The challenge is to use blue, green and yellow in your project. Perfect springtime colors! I used the Delicate Dots DSP from SAB, and threw in a tad of brown. I paper pieced her shirt and the boxes. I love paper piecing! The way I did the ribbon started off as a mistake. I punched the hole there for something else, but it didn't work like I hoped. The hole was through the image too, and there was no way I was doing all that cutting again, lol so I came up with this to hide it .

Stamp Something Challenge

Good morning! This week's Stamp Something Challenge is sponsored by our own Marcea. Her challenge to us, is to use multiple shapes in your project. I'm not really lovin this card...I can't put my finger on what's wrong with it though. Maybe it would have looked better with a Baja Breeze as the background, and the pattern paper where the Baja is...or maybe the Baja just doesn't go. That color is in the pattern paper I used, but there is only one stripe of it, which is mostly covered up, lol. I might just tear this one apart and fix it . I used the Lattebella and just cut her off the stool. I love this bella. Her shirt is so cute!

Sketch cards

I made this card with last weeks Mojo Monday sketch. I LOVE this sketch! I'm glad I finally got a chance to use it, along with my Thoughts & Prayers stamp set which has been neglected. =) I don't think I'm going to buy any more solid image stamps unless I can't live without them . Ever since I got Copics, they totally get ignored. Coloring is so much more fun! Speaking of which, my new markers will be here Saturday!! That is so fast! I just ordered them Monday night! Oh, and my Bellas should be here tomorrow or the next day too! I know what I'll be doing this weekend!

I made this one for the sketch challenge on SCS. I just used ribbon where the paper strips were supposed to be. I received this adorable IPodabella image from WishRaks. She was colored with Copics of course! Well her boots were colored with an SU marker because I keep forgetting to order a black copic. Good afternoon! This is an image I wished for in WishRaks on SCS, but to my surprise, I received the actual stamp rather than stamped images! How awesome is that? So I made this card to thank the sweet lady that sent me the stamp. Now if my postage stamps would hurry up and come so I can mail it. I used them all up granting wishes in WRAK so I ordered some online. It's so funny to me that I didn't use to like Bella's at all, then I started liking them a little bit, but now I think I'm half in love with them ! I can't wait to order some! They are so fun to color and paper piece, plus they are freakin' adorable! But I'm getting ready to order some more Copics, so the Bella's are gonna have to wait for now. Bella

Good morning! Hope you all had a great weekend! I finally started my Christmas shopping . I'm almost done too! I love Christmas shopping, and even more, I love to wrap presents!

I made this card last night with this adorable Bella image I received from Erin and/or Denise (can't remember ). I'm not sure which one she is. I couldn't find her on the website. For a long time I didn't like the Bellas because they have normal legs, but stick arms. Still bugs me a little, but they are really growing on me. They are just way too cute! The flowers are Prima Sprites that I forgot I had. I did a little cleaning in here and found a few things I forgot I had . The flower in the center was colored with a copic marker to match her dress. The other one's I used match the Pink Pirouette almost perfectly! The sentiment is from Nursery Necessities. I just inked up half of it each time and used a SAMJ.
