I just love these little pocket cards, so I thought I'd make another =). The layout of this one is pretty much the same as the one I posted last week.
I've been working on my recipe cards yesterday and today. I ordered From the Kitchen of so I can make my own. Ugh, I hate to write. I just stamped the main stamp, so I'm filing all of them out first and then I'll decorate them. I've only got about 15 of them done so far. It will all be worth it when they are done though, and my recipe box isn't a jumble of papers where I can't find anything =). I'm so looking forward to that. And I'm finding great recipes I forgot I even had.

-Stamps-Tart & Tangy, Itty Bitty Backgrounds and One of a Kind.
-Paper-Wild Wasabi, Pumpkin Pie, Yoyo Yellow, and Whisper White cardstock; Summer Picnic DSP.
-Ink-Wild Wasabi, Only Orange and Yoyo Yellow.
-Accessories-Styled Silver HPH, Corner rounder punch, hole punch. 1 3/8" & 1 1/4" Circle punches and Scallop punch.

Woohoo! I'm on a roll. This is my 6th post this week!! I think my mojo is definitely back =)...now if only I wasn't bored with most of my stamps, lol. My stamp room hasn't seen new rubber in so long. I did just place a small order yesterday though =). I got From the Kitchen and some other stuff to make a recipe box. I'm really looking forward to starting on that. Oh, and Erin Bailey sent my a GORGEOUS card yesterday with some Bloomin' Beautiful images =). I didn't even like that set till I saw her card, but now I LOVE it! You can see the card HERE. but it's even prettier in person.
I did both of these cards for SC181 on SCS. I love this sketch! And I'm so proud of myself. I haven't touched looks like spring in forever...probably at least a year. =) BTW, I got the piercing idea from Becky Carafa. I just loved the way she pierced around the main panel. One of a Kind
This card was a CASE from the page 2 in the catalog. I never noticed it before since it's upside down, but I loved it. I changed it up a good bit though. I am LOVIN the Flower Fusion. I got them when they came out, and hardly touched them, now I can't get enough of them! I know I totally screwed up the background on this card, but at that point I already had the card done, since I wasn't planing on using a BG and I just didn't feel like doing the whole thing over. I really wish I would have spotted this card in the catalog earlier. This would have been a perfect make in take.
-Stamps-One of a Kind, Boho Backgrounds
-Paper-Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate and Whisper White cardstock; Bali Breeze DSP
-Ink-Purely Pomegranate and Wild Wasabi
-Accessories-Wild Wasabi ribbon, Flower Fusion and silver brad.
This is just a little gift I gave my hostess for hosting the workshop. I forgot to post this with the other workshop stuff, but hey, it matched the card above anyway =).
-Paper-Summer Picnic DSP and Cutie Pie DSP
-Accessories-Styled Silver HPH, Flower Fusion and Eastern Elegance rub-ons.

Card for mom
This is the card I made my mom for Mothers day. Of course I put off making cards till the last minute, so I made them really late Saturday night. Ugh, I'm such a procrastinator. I made hubby's mom a card too, but I forgot to take a picture before I gave it to her. This card was inspired by THIS card by Jenn Balcer.
-Stamps-Fabulous Flowers, Tres Chic BG, One of a Kind, and Straight up alphabet & numbers (retired).
-Paper-Purely Pomegranate, Groovy Guava, Soft Sky, Whisper White and Blue Bayou; Soft Sky prints DSP.
-Ink-Purely Pomegranate, Groovy Guava, Soft Sky and Blue Bayou
-Accessories-Styled Silver HPH, foam dimensionals.
I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day!

Ways to use it challenge card
I'm not really sure why, but I've never done any of the ways to use it challenges on SCS. I finally did one today though =). It was WT164 All Ruffled up. The challenge was to make pleats or ruffles so I made some by folding DSP back and forth. The DSP was 1/2" by 18". I just taped the paper together inside one of the ruffles.
The inside of the flower looks like it was colored with Pretty in Pink, but all I did was use a blender pen to drag the color from the Pomegranate outlines. It works great. The flower fusion flower looks kinda funny in the picture. It doesn't look so bad IRL.
-Stamp-One of a Kind, Priceless
-Ink-Close to Cocoa, Purely Pomegranate
-Paper-Close to Cocoa, Purely Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink and Whisper White cardstock; Rose Red prints DSP.
-Accessories-Flower Fusion, Styled Silver HPH, Pretty in Pink grosgrain and SAB rub-on sentiment.

SC169 Tart and Tangy
I have to say this card surprised me. I hate Yo-Yo Yellow, and I've hardly touched Wild Wasabi or Pumpkin Pie. I had the basic idea for this card in my head, but when I went to make it I realized I'd have to use these colors which I thought would look really bad together. I'm actually really happy with it though. I was browsing the past sketch challenges on SCS and came across SC169 from a few weeks ago and I knew it would be perfect. I think I'll definitely be using this sketch a lot. I don't think you can tell in the pic, but the brad on the main panel is from the new Hodgepodge hardware. It says Genuine. I LOVE the new HPH! It's so pretty I can hardly bring myself it use it.
-Stamps-Tart & Tangy, One of a Kind
-Paper-Wild Wasabi, Real Red, Yo-Yo Yellow, and Whisper White cardstock; Summer Picnic DSP.
-Ink-Yo-Yo Yellow, Wild Wasabi, and Only Orange (I don't have Pumpkin ink yet).
-Accessories-Styled Silver HPH, Pumpkin Pie grosgrain, Pop-dots.
-Technique-Masking
Puppy update-
Some of you may remember my post about the puppies I was having a hard time finding homes for. Well this really wonderful person saw my post and contacted me. They emailed several rescues trying to help me, and one of them sent out a mass email to rescues in other states. A foster home for a animal shelter (when they don't have room) contacted me and said she could take some of them. In the meantime I did find homes for 4. Between the woman in PA and friend of hers they were able to take the remaining 5. Her friend drove all the way down to SC! I met her at a shelter in Greenville where she was picking up 5 other dogs to rescue. The lady that came to get them and her family kept 2 of them, and the other woman kept one and is fostering the other two till homes can be found for them. They have both sent me pictures. The puppies are all doing great! I can't tell you how amazing these people are. Thank you all so much for everything you do!!

SC159
Man, I am so in love with my new stamp sets! I haven't had so many ideas running through my head in a while =). I made this card for sketch challenge 159 on SCS. I really love this layout. It's so simple, but there are so many possibilities. The card looks better in person though. I couldn't get a good picture of it. Probably because I have really crappy lighting in here. Sorry about the horrible shadow in the background.
Isn't the Berry Bliss DSP gorgeous?! I've always been a huge fan of pink and brown together so I was really happy to get my hands on this paper =).
I punched the scallop circle twice to get the pointy edges. The edges were lightly sponged with pretty in pink ink then I layered that on a regular punched scallop, just offset a little bit. The pretty in pink circle was punched with the the circle punch and has pop dots underneath. It looks crooked in the picture though. I think I just took it from a bad angle.
-Stamps-One of a Kind, True Friend, Boho Backgrounds and Priceless
-Ink-Purely Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink and Close to Cocoa
-Paper-Purely Pomegranate, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White and Close to Cocoa cardstock; Berry Bliss DSP
-Accessories-Pretty in Pink marker, 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 circle punches, Boho Blossoms punch, Scallop circle punch, silver brads, Pretty in Pink taffeta ribbon and stickles.

I'm lovin' the new Rub-ons!!
This card was a CASE from page 108 in the new catalog, I just made a few changes to it. I absolutely love the new Rub-ons! The one of a kind sentiment, the flower and flourish at the bottom and the white circles on the scallops are all rub-ons. I also love the new mono multi glue from the new catalog. That stuff is great!
-Stamps-One of a Kind, Priceless
-Paper-Pretty in Pink and Purely Pomegranate cardstock; Berry Bliss DSP.
-Ink-Close to Cocoa and Purely Pomegranate.
-Accessories-Urban West Rub-ons, Purely Pomegranate ribbon, rhinestone brad, scallop circle, 1 3/8 circle, and 1 1/4 circle punches.
