Nugget boxes

My original plan for Christmas gifts was nugget tins, but everyone was sold out of them. I did a few like these, but they were just too much trouble for the amount I needed, so thats why I ended up making cocoa tins. I got the pattern for this from SCS. -Stamps-Snowflake Spot, Many Merry Messages.
-Ink-Bashful Blue, Purely Pomegranate, Chocolate Chip
-Paper-Purely Pomegranate & Whisper White Cardstock. Blizzard wrapping paper
-Accessories-Scallop Circle punch, Circle punch, Avery Labels, Brayer, retired copper cord.

This one is a gift card tin (I don't know where it came from though. I've had it laying around for a while begging me to decorate it). This tin holds 8 nuggets.-Stamps-Many Merry Messages
-Paper-Bashful Blue and Whisper White cardstock; Blizzard Wrapping paper
-Accessories-Bashful Blue ribbon.

Keep in mind that the Holiday Mini catalog only goes till the end of this month, so get your holdiday stamps before it's too latewink. Just to make it a little easier, I'll give you free shipping on your holiday mini purchases. Just send me an email at stampingexpressions@gmail.com if your interested.I'm not sure what I'm going to put in it yet. Any ideas?

Another Snowflake Spot card

This card was for the DSketch1007 challenge for Fan Club Members on SCS. The sketch was changed a pretty good bit though. The circle was supposed to be much smaller (like the SU scallop punch) but I didn't have that punch when I made the card, or a circle to punch to put inside (and my circle cutter won't go that small)rolleyes. This sketch was also rectangle. The scallop circle was punched using the corner rounder. See my tutorial HERE.biggrin-Stamps-The Snowflake Spot, Seeing Spots, Snow Flurries, and Spot On Jumbo wheel
-Ink-Purely Pomegranate, Soft Sky and Blue Bayou
-Paper-Purely Pomegranate, Soft Sky,Blue Bayou and Whisper White; Cutie Pie DSP
-Accessories-Hodgepodge hardware, Blue Bayou and Purely Pomegranate double stitched ribbon and Ticket Corner Punch.
This piece of hodgepodge I've actually never used before. I have a ton of them because I've never found a use for them. The Pomegranate ribbon was run through first and tied around the inner rectangle, then the Blue Bayou piece was run through. I think it looks a little bit funny, but I'm glad I finally found something to do with that piecewink.

Reverse Masking

Well I finally decided to give Reverse Masking a try. I can't believe it took me so long. This is a really fun technique. If your not familiar with it, Beate has a great tutorial on SCS. What would we do without Beate? =)For this one I just cut a circle with my circle cutter and used the negative. The inside was sponged with stampin' sponges. The flowers were colored with Purely Pomegranate using a blender pen in the ink pad lid.
-Stamps-Simply Said and Priceless
-Ink-So Saffron, and Purely Pomegranate.
-Paper-Chocolate Chip and Whisper White.
-Accessories-Stampin' Sponges and Blender pen. This one was a CASE from Impress5524 on SCS. Her card looks much better than mine though.

-Stamps-Snowflake Spot
-Ink-Blue Bayou and Soft Sky
-Paper-Very Vanilla
-Accessories-black pen, rhinestone brad, silver brad and silver cord.

Thursday Sketch # 4

Sorry I'm so late getting this up. I was watching 1408 with my hubby. Thats a really good movie by the way. Kinda weird, but very good. Definately not a dull moment.
Yay, new stamps today. Well I was good, all I got is the Snowflake spot, some sponges and an Always Artichoke marker.I seem to have a problem lately, that either I put too many layers on a card, or it's a one layer. There is no medium for me anymore. I think I need to work on that. On snowflake I did the rock and roll technique with Soft Sky and Blue Bayou.
-Stamps-The Snowflake Spot and Season of Joy
-Ink-Purely Pomegranate, Blue Bayou and Soft Sky
-Paper-Purely Pomegranate, Blue Bayou and Soft Sky cardstock. Cutie Pie DSP.
-Accessories-Silver Cord, Silver brads, Stampin Sponges and Tag corner punch.

Does anyone know how I can put smilies on here? Every time I try it just shows the image code.
