Christmas and Color Challenge

Good afternoon! I hope you're having a great week so far. I made this card for the color challenge on SCS, which was to use Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip and Riding Hood Red. I love this color combo! I also used last weeks Mojo Monday sketch challenge.

-Stamps-Impression Obsession What's Brewing, SU Upsy Daisy
-Paper-Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette and white cardstock; Riding Hood Red DSP
-Ink-Memento black and Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Chip marker
-Copics-RV000, RV10, R22, R27, R29, R46, E37, E47
-Accessories-Corner rounder punch, hole punch, white brads, Chocolate Chip twill

I started on this card probably a couple of months ago, and set it aside to work on something else. I found it under my radio the other day when I was cleaning up a little bit so I thought I'd finish it. I know I've used this layout before, and I'm thinking it's was a sketch challenge but I can't remember where I saw it.

-Stamps-SU Snow Flurries, Seeing Spots and Perfect Endings
-Paper-Bravo Burgundy, Soft Sky and White
-Ink-Bravo Burgundy, Soft Sky and Blue Bayou
-Accessories-Bravo Burgundy grosgrain, Rhinestones, HPH

Can you believe it..3 posts in 3 days! Oh, and I noticed when I was getting ready to start this post that this is my 250th one! Wow!

More Christmas cards =)

Good morning! I hope you all had a great weekend! I saw this color combo somewhere recently, but I can't remember where. The card I saw used Baja Breeze though, but I don't have that color yet, so I used Soft Sky. This first card looked a lot better before I put those huge brads on. Problem was though, I poked all the holes with my paper piercer, and then decided the holes I poked were too close to the edge so I poked new ones next to them. Then I decided that smaller brads would look much better, but by that point it was too late, because the small brads wouldn't cover up both holes. Duh! lol Oh, well. I'm still pretty happy with it though. The brads were silver, but I just embossed them to make them white. I don't think I'll ever get tired of this stamp set! I love coloring it! I wanted to use my Copics, but I didn't have the right colors, so I used an SU marker for the Burgundy and an Aqua Painter with my Soft Sky ink pad.
-Stamps-Crazy for Christmas, Polka Dots & Paisley, PTI Take a Bough

-Ink-Palette Black, Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky and Bravo Burgundy
-Accessories-Sewing machine, white thread, brads, Aqua painter and, Bravo Burgundy marker and 1 1/4" & 1 3/8" Circle punches

Loved the color combo so much I decided to make another biggrin. I just inked up the image with Soft Sky, and then went right over it with markers.

More Christmas cards

I finally made an acetate card! I saw a really cute one on Lorie's blog yesterday, and it reminded me again that I need to make one! You can see Lorie's HERE. I didn't have much luck taking pictures today though. It's kinda hard to tell where the card ends, lol. It looks a lot better in person though. I think I'm going to have to make more of these. I really like them!

Easy Christmas card

This is a super simple Christmas card. I love Snow Flurries and Seeing Spots together. I made a card kinda similar to this the year before last, and then I made another last year based on the other, and now this one. Just casing myself I guess =). Too bad I made it upside down, lol. I didn't even realize it until I was standing it up to get a picture of it. Haha, I can't believe I did that. Oh well. I'll fix it later. Probably just flip it over and use the back.-Stamps-Snow Flurries, Seeing Spots and Many Merry Messages
-Paper-Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, Purely Pomegranate and Whisper white
-Ink-Blue Bayou, Soft Sky and Purely Pomegranate
-Accessories-Paper Piercer, Mat Pack and Blue Bayou double stitched ribbon.

Another Snowflake Spot card

This card was for the DSketch1007 challenge for Fan Club Members on SCS. The sketch was changed a pretty good bit though. The circle was supposed to be much smaller (like the SU scallop punch) but I didn't have that punch when I made the card, or a circle to punch to put inside (and my circle cutter won't go that small)rolleyes. This sketch was also rectangle. The scallop circle was punched using the corner rounder. See my tutorial HERE.biggrin-Stamps-The Snowflake Spot, Seeing Spots, Snow Flurries, and Spot On Jumbo wheel
-Ink-Purely Pomegranate, Soft Sky and Blue Bayou
-Paper-Purely Pomegranate, Soft Sky,Blue Bayou and Whisper White; Cutie Pie DSP
-Accessories-Hodgepodge hardware, Blue Bayou and Purely Pomegranate double stitched ribbon and Ticket Corner Punch.
This piece of hodgepodge I've actually never used before. I have a ton of them because I've never found a use for them. The Pomegranate ribbon was run through first and tied around the inner rectangle, then the Blue Bayou piece was run through. I think it looks a little bit funny, but I'm glad I finally found something to do with that piecewink.

Fabulous Flowers Composition book

My best friend works at an office store, so she picked up some composition books for me when they were on sale for 25 cents each. I think this one is going to be for my SU! wishlists. I keep making them on single sheets of paper and just keeping them it a clipboard, but thats just getting to messy. It shouldn't take me too long to fill this baby up =). Sorry, the picture isn't very good here. I'm not sure if you can tell in the picture, but at the bottom I stamped Dare to be Fabulous. Also along the spine, it doesn't look like it in the pic, but thats chocolate chip cardstock stamped with seeing spots. The back of the book is the same as the bottom half of the front.
-Stamps-Fabulous Flowers, Seeing Spots, and Spot On jumbo wheel
-Paper-Purely Pomegranate, Chocolate Chip, and Whisper White.
