So I found this website Jibjab.com where you can put your head on someone elses body for a video. This is me and my hubby doing the La Cucaracha. LOL. I had to hack off most of my hair, and hubby had to lose an ear though. It's kind of a pain editing the photos. =)

Reverse Masking
Well I finally decided to give Reverse Masking a try. I can't believe it took me so long. This is a really fun technique. If your not familiar with it, Beate has a great tutorial on SCS. What would we do without Beate? =)
For this one I just cut a circle with my circle cutter and used the negative. The inside was sponged with stampin' sponges. The flowers were colored with Purely Pomegranate using a blender pen in the ink pad lid.
-Stamps-Simply Said and Priceless
-Ink-So Saffron, and Purely Pomegranate.
-Paper-Chocolate Chip and Whisper White.
-Accessories-Stampin' Sponges and Blender pen.
This one was a CASE from Impress5524 on SCS. Her card looks much better than mine though.
-Stamps-Snowflake Spot
-Ink-Blue Bayou and Soft Sky
-Paper-Very Vanilla
-Accessories-black pen, rhinestone brad, silver brad and silver cord.

Thursday Sketch # 4
Sorry I'm so late getting this up. I was watching 1408 with my hubby. Thats a really good movie by the way. Kinda weird, but very good. Definately not a dull moment.
Yay, new stamps today. Well I was good, all I got is the Snowflake spot, some sponges and an Always Artichoke marker.I seem to have a problem lately, that either I put too many layers on a card, or it's a one layer. There is no medium for me anymore. I think I need to work on that.
On snowflake I did the rock and roll technique with Soft Sky and Blue Bayou.
-Stamps-The Snowflake Spot and Season of Joy
-Ink-Purely Pomegranate, Blue Bayou and Soft Sky
-Paper-Purely Pomegranate, Blue Bayou and Soft Sky cardstock. Cutie Pie DSP.
-Accessories-Silver Cord, Silver brads, Stampin Sponges and Tag corner punch.
Does anyone know how I can put smilies on here? Every time I try it just shows the image code.

So you think you're a slob?!
Okay, So I've seen a lot of you post pictures of your messy stamp rooms, so I thought it was time to confess that I am a horrible slob. When I get in the groove I don't put ANYTHING away. And then normally by the time I get done stamping I don't feel like cleaning up my mess. So then the next time I want to stamp I don't want to have to clean first so I just kinda push stuff out of my way and leave myself a tiny little place to stamp. You have no idea how long this goes on before I decide to clean up after myself. Normally it's when I can't find anything at all, and I start to forget what I actually own. There are 10 stamp sets on the table right now most of them out of their cases, and 16 ink pads. The worst part though is I have a color caddy with in my reach, and I shelves on the walls that I keep my stamps on (also within reach). There is a ton of paper on the table too. I always pull out a bunch of colors trying to decide what to use, then don't put them away even though I have hanging file folders with in reach. I'm dreading putting all this stuff away. Lol. So anyway, here's what it looks like right now.

Season of Joy one layer
I'm trying to get a move on my Christmas cards finally, lol. I make them all different so it takes a lot of time.
I love one layer cards. They are sooo easy! This one is 4.25 X 4.25.
-Stamps-Baroque Motifs and Season of Joy
-Paper-Very Vanilla
-Ink-Always Artichoke, Purely Pomegranate and Creamy Caramel.
-Accessories-Pop dots and sponges.
I used the main image from Baroque motifs . I stamped it once, then just a little bit more on each side. I hope that makes sense =). The flowers were cut out. I just curled the edges a little bit with my fingers and stuck a pop dot underneath. Then I stamped the sentiment, and a few little flowers then sponged the edges with Creamy Caramel. Super easy card!
