Good Morning! Welcome to the first Ketto Blog Hop sponsored by Stamping Bella! If you've just happened upon my blog, you can CLICK HERE to start from the beginning at Bloggabella. There is blog candy somewhere along the blog hop, but the fun part is they aren't telling us where it is . One pre-selected blogger will draw a random winner from the comments on her post, and the winner will receive a $40 gift voucher to Stamping Bella!
I used the adorable Agnes Ketto on my card. I love the Ketto stamps! I want them all! The image and the silk flowers were colored with Copics. I think this layout may have been an old SCS sketch, but I made this card last week and I can't remember now. I cut the lighter pink part of her skirt out of a second image and layered it on top. I used mini glue dots in the middle of each piece and glue on the ends so each one sticks up a little in the middle.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Now it's time to hop on over to Christy's blog. Have a wonderful day!

Anniversary card
Good morning! Monday was me and Sam's six year anniversary, which is why I didn't post like I usually do. We had a really nice day. We went canoeing, and out for a nice dinner. He also surprised me with a Cricut!! What a sweetie! A couple of months ago I was looking in the Walmart sales paper and saw a Cricut, and I jokingly said to hubby "hey you wanna buy me one of those?" Well apparently he's been putting aside a little money each week so he could get it for me ! He also got me the Sure Cuts A Lot program! That thing is awesome! I will never have to buy a cartage for this thing! I've already added tons of fonts, and dingbats. Now that I can make great titles so easily, I have no more excuses not to scrapbook! I found a really great set of dingbats HERE that have a bunch of shapes like nesties. Here is the anniversary card I made for Sam.
This card took forever! I used Michelle Zindorf's brayered sky technique. I must have done the main image for this card 15 times! I kept messing something up. It's funny, my first two came out perfect, but I forgot to put in the moon on the first, and on the second the sentiment wasn't inked up well enough. I'll probably just case myself and make some of these for Father's Day too. The boat and the cattails are from Impression Obsession. It was one stamp, but I cut it apart so the boat could be a little further away.
ETA: If you participated in last weeks Stamp Something Challenge, and linked your project using Mr. Linky, you need to go back and leave a comment to make sure you are entered. Mr. Linky is having problems.

Stamp Something Challenge
Good morning! Well, this week it is time for me to say goodbye to the Stamp Something challenge design team. It's hard to believe it's been a year! I've really enjoyed it! Denise, Erin, and the rest of the team were awesome! The challenges were so fun! I'm sure you'll still see me participating in the challenges whenever I have a chance though!
This weeks challenge is all about sketches! You can either CASE one of my previous cards using a sketch I've drawn for Stamp Something, or use the new one on the right.

Smile =)
Good morning! I hope you are having a nice Wednesday so far. Remember THESE two cards I cased from Lauren for the last Stamp Something Challenge? Well, I loved that layout so much I had to use it again . I just can't get enough of it! I colored one of the silk flowers with my BG10 Copic marker. The flowers and the ribbons are from Walmart. I really wanted that flower there, but I couldn't think of anywhere else to put the sentiment, so I used a rub on on the ribbon. I'm really happy with how this came out. Sorry this picture is a little dark. I couldn't go any lighter without the soft sky completely washing out. In the picture it looks like the ribbon is much brighter than the flower and the soft sky layer, but they are actually a really close match in person.
-Paper-Black, White and Soft Sky cardstock; Paper Studio DSP -Copics-BG10 -Accessories-Silk flowers, Silver HPH, SU rub on, cuttlebug folder, and satin ribbon
And here is an award I received from Tiffany! Thanks so much Tiffany ! Make sure you check out her blog! She has such creative ideas! Usually when I receive awards, although they are very much appreciated, I usually forget about them before I have a chance to post them . I am SO forgetful it's ridiculous! I really do appreciate those of you who stop by my blog and leave such sweet comments. Your wonderful comments always make me smile! I usually don't pass on awards since I don't want to forget about anyone, but you all know who you are! If you comment here on a regular basis, this one's for you!
Have a great day!

Stamp Something Challenge
Good morning! This week over at Stamp Something we are honoring Lauren by doing clean and simple cards. You can CASE one of her cards, or come up with your own. The theme this week is thank you. Clean and simple cards are usually harder for me for some reason, so I cased THIS card of Lauren's, which I LOVE. I made two, because on the first one I forgot to use a Thank you theme . On both cards, after dry embossing with my cuttlebug folders, I covered the whole thing in versamark, then heat and stick powder, then glitter. I did have to re dry emboss the swiss dots one because the dots didn't show up very well after. I really love this layout! -Stamps-Seeing Spots, Impression Obsession Cupcakes

USS Ark
Good afternoon! I hope you are having a great day so far! I am in love with this image! I saw it on recently on a couple blogs and had to have it! This is a digital stamp from Doodle Palace. It was only $2.50! I am really lovin' digital stamps! I think I actually prefer them to actual stamps. No matter how much I color the ink never runs, you can print them at any size you want and they're are cheap! My favorite thing of all though is the instant gratification!

So because of that, the challenges this month are going to be a little bit different. Mothers's Day Card
Good Morning! I made this card for my mom for Mother's Day. I still don't have a Happy Mother's Day stamp, so I used an alphabet set to spell mom. I've got to buy sentiments more often. I usually avoid them because they're no fun, but they also aren't there when I need them, .
-Stamps-Flourishes Poppy Patch, Image Tree Alphabet -Paper-Riding Hood Red, White and Black cardstock; Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red DSP -Ink-Riding Hood Red, black -Copics-R22, R27, R46, R59, YG95, YR31 -Accessories-Satin Ribbon (RABOM) and pop dots
I made this to store my 6 X 6 patterned paper. I had it all just shoved in this plastic thing and it was just about impossible to find what I needed. So once again, I got out some cardboard and got to work . I made this the same way I made my recipe box, only on this one the top comes off completely, and of course it's lot bigger.
I'm not really loving the papers and colors I used, so I may end up tearing at apart and recovering it one of these days. Not sure what I was thinking. It doesn't even match anything in my stamp room, and I didn't have enough of that pattern paper. I made the box a lot bigger than what I needed so I won't ever have to make another one. I made the 'folders' out of white 12 X 12 cardstock cut in half. I scored them at 6, 6.25, 5.5 and a few marks in between, so that the back of the folder is the same height as the paper so I can see the tab on the back. I LOVE this! It is so easy to find exactly what I need now!
Supplies-cardboard, White, Tempting Turquoise and Chocolate Chip cardstock, masking tape, glue, round tab punch, DSP from Hobby Lobby.

Coffee
Good morning! I hope you all had a nice weekend! We didn't do much, but I had something pretty funny happen. Well, it wasn't very funny at the time, but now I can't stop laughing at myself. I flipped my buggy over in the Walmart parking lot! Seriously, it completely flipped over full of stuff! I had a bag of mulch and two bags of soil under the buggy, but when I checked out I just put them on top since they were hard to get out from underneath. They didn't fit well and it was poring rain outside so I didn't want to have to get soaked trying to get them out. So I'm walking out to my car, one of the buggy's front wheels bumps the curb, and there it went . Completely upside down with all my stuff on the pavement. Glad I didn't get any eggs. I got completely soaked! Two really nice people stopped and helped me get everything back in. Note to self, don't overload the front of of the buggy . I still can't believe I did that.
Anyway, I used Jen's Sketch For You To Try from last week for this card. Her sketches are always so fun!
-Stamps-Impression Obsession What's Brewing, Inkadinkado sentiment
-Paper-Tempting Turquoise, Black and White cardstock; Paper Studio DSP
-Ink-Memento Black, Tempting Turquoise
-Copics-BG01, B00, B02, B05, E44, E47

Have a great day!

Stamp Something Challenge
Good morning! The theme for this weeks Stamp Something Challenge is Something For Mother AND to CASE (Copy and Share Everything) something created by Cindy Beech . I really enjoyed Casing Cindy. She's got tons of fab projects to pick from! I chose THIS beautiful card to CASE. I love that layout and how she used the hodgepodge hardware. I'm not sure if it's just my computer, but the picture doesn't show up unless you click on it.
-Stamps-Fifth Avenue Floral, Image Tree Alphabet
-Paper-Apricot Appeal, Pumpkin Pie and white cardstock; Apricot Appeal prints and Bali Breeze DSP
-Ink-Memento, Pumpkin Pie
-Copics-YR31, Y17, Y38
-Accessories-HPH, Cuttlebug folder, Pumpkin grosgrain, pop dots, and SAMJ.
On another note, I am no longer a demo. I'm actually surprised I made it close to a year and a half with my lack of customers . Now that I'm allowed to sell current stamps, I'll probably be listing a some for sale in a few days.
Oh, and I won Tiffany's blog candy! How cool is that! I've been wanting the curly label punch bundle and now I won it! Thanks so much Tiffany! You rock!
Have a wonderful weekend, and don't' forget to stop by and check out the rest of the DT's fabulous projects!
